WORKSHOP CONTENT

Learn how to:- • understand how your eyes work
• use the principles of the Bates Method in your every day seeing
• relax and use your eyes without effort
• read without strain
• use both eyes together in a comfortable, balanced way
• enjoy games and activities to enhance your eye/body co-ordination
• trust your eyes and experience how other senses can support vision
• dialogue with your eyes
• give the best nutritional support for your eyes
• recognise strain and have strategies in place to change things
  Come on a nightime walk and explore your vision in the dark
  Meet with others who are interested in improving their eyesight
  Plenty of fun, good company and lots of practical experience
  The Bates Method is for everyone and every eye condition

WORKSHOP

The workshop starts on Sunday afternoon 20th July with a ‘meet and greet ‘ fellow participants followed by dinner and ends on Saturday 26th after 4 p.m.

Participants will include those who are interested in having 6 days devoted to learning how to use their eyes well, and also trainee students of the College of Vision Education teacher training course at the beginning of their course.


VENUE & LOCATION

Felden Lodge is set in 32 acres of peaceful grounds on the outskirts of Hemel Hempstead and within easy access by:-

Road (M1, M25 motorways, A414, and A41)

Rail (London Euston to Hemel Hempstead)

Airports (Heathrow and Luton)

Tube (Metropolitan Line - Chesham)

Transport to the venue can be arranged by the organisers if plans are known.


Cost £750

(includes workshop participation, single accommodation with
ensuite facilities, all meals, handbook, any other handouts
including charts, etc.)

To secure a place for this event send a deposit of £200 (GBP) no later than 20th May, balance of payment £550 (GBP) to reach us no later than 20th June 2008

or

select the Early bird booking option at £695 (GBP) must be paid in full 20th May 2007
